ACEC/CT will host a Legislative Reception at the State Capitol in Hartford on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. The reception will be open to all legislators and legislative staff, DOT management, DCS management and ACEC/CT members and is a wonderful opportunity to show members of the General Assembly the great work we do for the people of Connecticut and our impact on the state’s economy.

Please join ACEC Connecticut for a presentation by CTDOT, AECOM, and ATANE on the replacement of the Atlantic Street Railroad Bridge.  This bridge replacement project now under construction utilizes ABC methods to minimize impacts to Amtrack, Metro North Railroad,  and the traveling public.  This project has just recently reached its first milestone with the placement of 6 bridge units in a span of 9 days, which included the demolition of  existing bridge.  The existing structure carries five rail tracks.  Two tracks were maintained in the bridge replacement window.   We look forward to hear more about this major bridge replacement project!
